My research interest lies in understanding particle physics not explained by the Standard Model, using both phenomenological and formal approaches. Recently, a good portion of my research has been devoted to studying the formal aspects of the Standard Model Effective Field Theory, including how to systematically count the number of independent effective operators, as well as how to efficiently perform matching, running, and mapping analyses. A few quite useful theoretical techniques have been developed. Another branch of my research is to study the implications of the LHC data. I build phenomenological models, and perform collider simulations to check their consistency with the data and their discovery potentials in future. I have also worked on the naturalness problem of the Higgs, neutrino physics, and the origin of baryon asymmetry in the universe.
