The closest airport is Sacramento (SMF) (20 minutes by taxi).
Your best option to fly into Sacramento from the West Coast is Southwest Airlines.

A prearranged taxi ride is about the same price as the shuttle bus, but more convenient.
Directions by Car:
The Alumni & Visitors Center is located on the south east portion of the UC Davis campus, next to the Mondavi Center.
From I-80 Eastbound (from Bay Area), take the UC Davis/Mondavi Center exit. Turn left onto Old Davis Road and continue north to the parking structure entrance on the right.
From I-80 Westbound (from Sacramento), take the UC Davis/Mondavi Center exit. Turn right onto Old Davis Road and continue north to the parking structure entrance on the right.
From Highway 113 Southbound, take the I-80 east off-ramp towards Sacramento. Take the UC Davis/Mondavi Center Exit near the end of the ramp and turn left onto Old Davis Road. Continue north to the parking structure entrance on the right.
Parking
A parking structure and parking lot is located south-west of the Alumni & Visitors Center building. Parking is $6.
