Title: The Galaxy halo bispectrum and primordial non-Gaussianities
Host:Markus Luty
Room: 432
Abstract: Primordial non-Gaussian density perturbations can give rise to very unusual behavior for the power spectrum and bispectrum of biased objects like galaxies. For example, the galactic power spectrum could go as 1/q^3 as small wave-vectors q. I discuss this effect within the context of quasi-single field inflation making some estimates for how small the wave-vector q has to be for this behavior to dominate over the usual approximately Harrison-Zeldovich form for the power spectrum. |
