| Description | Joint Theory Seminar: Speaker: Michael Dine Title: Discrete R Symmetries and Low Energy Supersymmetry Host: J. Gunion Room: 432 Abstract: The realization that metastable supersymmetry breaking is a generic phenomenon has stimulated new ways of looking at questions of dynamical supersymmetry breaking and model building. One potentially important approach invokes gaugino condensation. Building compelling models requires a generalization with order parameters of dimension one. This talk introduces such theories, and applies them to questions in gauge mediation. |
