Title: Conformal Symmetry in the Bulk
Host: Nemanja Kaloper
Room: 432
The AdS/CFT correspondence relates bulk Einstein geometries to boundary conformal geometry. We show that bulk geometry can also be described in terms of conformal geometry. This description yields a solution generating algebra in the bulk that controls solutions to very general bulk boundary problems. Using this algebra we present a boundary conformal calculus for conformally compact manifolds. We also present a (actually seven) novel formulation(s) of Einstein--Hilbert gravity based on an approach melding conformal geometry and
``two-times physics''.

Title:Recent SUSY results in multilepton final states
Host:Max Chertok and Robin
Room: 416
Abstract:
In this talk, I will describe recent SUSY searches at CDF. I will emphasize direct searches for weakly produced Charginos and Neutralinos including many recent results using the dilepton and trilepton signatures. The results represent the final and most stringent limits placed on Chargino and Neutralino mass from CDF through the end of the life of the Tevatron. Recent CMS results may also be included, time permitting.

Title: The Heart of Darkness: Neutralino Dark Matter, the Zeptobarn Scale, and Implications for Supersymmetric Models
Host: Hsin-Chia Cheng
Room: 432
Abstract: The neutralino is perhaps the most popular dark matter candidate, due primarily to its connection to a supersymmetric framework and viability at direct detection experiments. However, recent results both at colliders and direct detection experiments have placed significant pressure on neutralino dark matter scenarios. I will
discuss the behavior of neutralino dark matter in both the CMSSM framework and more general low-energy models, and argue that the neutralino dark matter scenario is still very much alive. I will also briefly discuss recent low-mass dark matter results in the context of isospin-violating dark matter.

HE Seminar - SUSY Searches with b-jets at CMS
Speaker: Josh Thompson, Cornell, CMS
Title: SUSY Searches with b-jets at CMS
Host: Robin Erbacher, John Conway
Room: 416
Abstract:
Many models for Supersymmetry (SUSY) predict strong coupling to third-generation Standard Model particles. As part of a broad program of complementary searches for SUSY, CMS has two recent analyses requiring b-jets in the final state. I will present these latest results, each performed with 1.1 fb^-1 of data.
