• born in 1933 in Grand Falls, Newfoundland
• married to Charmion King
• wrote and starred in "The Rowdy Man"
• directed and starred in "John and the Missus"
• wrote two plays "Easy Down Easy" and "Brass Rubbings"
• began career at the Manitoba Theatre Centre, went on to the Toronto stage and the Crest Theatre, Stratford, New Play Society
• starred in the "Quentin Durgens, MP" television series
• numerous television appearances, from "Hogan's Hero's", to "The Beachcombers", to "Due South", to "The Red Green Show"
