Constraints on Axion Dark Matter from Big Bang Nucleosynthesis
Abstract: I will discuss a new constraint on the parameter space of axion dark matter from the measurement of 4He abundance. Contrary to most astrophysics constraints the bound directly affects the model independent axion coupling to gluons and it overlaps with much of the parameter space that would be covered by proposed searches for a time-varying neutron EDM. I will also briefly review some general aspects of the tuning of axion dark matter parameter space.
