===== RUTGERS, THE STATE UNIVERSITY OF NEW JERSEY ===== ==== FACULTY POSITION ==== ==== HIGH ENERGY THEORY ==== The Department of Physics and Astronomy at Rutgers (New Brunswick, NJ) invites applications for a junior faculty position in theoretical high energy physics, with a focus on LHC physics, broadly conceived. This position is within the New High Energy Theory Center, subject to the availability of funds. A Ph. D. in theoretical high energy physics and postdoctoral research experience is required. Rutgers has a strong existing program in LHC physics. The theory and experimental groups have a tradition of working closely together. In addition, members of the New High Energy Theory Center and the Department of Physics are active in string theory and in fundamental aspects of quantum field theory. Applicants should be committed to excellence in undergraduate and graduate education.
